In the Anzac Tradition
In true Aussie spirit my flatmate Daz and I hit up the pub only an hour after being awake and after a very healthy breakfast of chips and burgers and a couple of beers we thought we'd hit up a game or two of two up. After a few rounds we were fifty bucks up and needless today put this money to very good use.

julia likes metal and making out
"I'm gonna do a big jump over here"
Today I scooted on down to the Bondi skate park to capture a bit of the action with my new flatmate and soon-becoming pro-skater Darryl (Dazzla). Although today he didn't work up the guts to hit the bowl, he still owned the ramps one after another. With his crew of skater kids in tow, all appropriately suited in flanno's and flat caps..they summed up what the Bondi skatepark is for many, an arena to showcase the incredible artform that is skating.

Home is whenever I'm with you.
Him: Jade
Her: Alexander
Him: Do you remember that day you fell outta my window?
Her: I sure do, you came jumping out after me.
Him: Well, you fell on the concrete, nearly broke your ass, you were bleeding all over the place and I rushed you out to the hospital, you remember that?
Her: Yes I do.
Him: Well there's something I never told you about that night.
Her: What didn't you tell me?
Her: What didn't you tell me?
Him: While you were sitting in the backseat smoking a cigarette you thought was gonna be your last, I was falling deep, deeply in love with you, and I never told you til just now.

His name was Benn

I was lucky enough to shoot with this amazing photographer for the campaign for Shay Alexander Footwear Campaign, Winter 2010. Have a look and fall in love, some of Benn's work - awkward perfection. www.bennwood.com
the curves of our history

I have very recently develoved a fascination with architecture. The way that the alignment of melancholy materials can create an incredible structure that represents a time in this life, is magnificent. The curve of turrets and stack of bricks, the harshness of pailings against the softness of a garden, the line of the rooves and the winding of the paths. I am especially obsessed with churches, 60's and 70's architecture and anything generally castle like. So I thought I'd show you how to love some pieces of wood and cold stone.
